Give to Life Charity Organization is a newly established Organization founded by Lady Dorcas Dadzie,
A native of Adenkrebi, a community under the Greater Accra region of Ghana, West Africa.
She relocated to Sweden in the year 2001 and currently lives there with her family, working with the Kommunal Labour Union, advocating and impacting lives in the Swedish society.
As a child growing up, Dorcas encountered many challenges. She stayed with her grandparents in the village at the
age of ten (10) and later left for the city of Accra at age 15 to live with her mother together with her two younger siblings. Life in the city became extremely difficult, so much so that she had to leave her mother and siblings to live with aunties and external family members just to survive. She had to practically serve them, help them with their businesses and other house chores just to get through her education.
This led her to engage in child labour at a tender age. All these hardship were due to poverty. She worked very hard to support her siblings’ education financially, and continued until they both entered the university successfully. She later got the opportunity to work with a prominent company in Ghana and embraced the Grace and Favour of the Lord to embark on a journey to Sweden in the year 2001 where she continued to support her sibblings until they both completed the university successfully and joined her abroad.
After many years abroad and many visits to her motherland Ghana Dorcas realized that many children in Ghana and her community were still experiencing the same problems she encountered growing up, which brings about low performance in school, teenage pregnancy, lack of parental control, school drop out, truancy in school, drug abuse and other juvenile delinquencies.
In order to address these issues and bring about positive change, lady Dorcas founded
GIVE TO LIFE CHARITY ORGANIZATION in march 2021, and asked her friends and family members to join her bring hope and joy to the less privileged in local communities and deprived areas across Ghana. The Organization is a recognized Non-Governmental Organization, registered under the companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) Ghana and Registered under the Swedish Government Law.
